Chiropractic Education

In accordance with the 2017 Allied Health Professions Act in Mauritius, general chiropractors and chiropractic specialists must have graduated from an institution accredited by the International Council on Chiropractic Education (ICCE) to ensure a level of professional training.

General Chiropractors have completed 5 to 6 years of study in an ICCE accredited institution (Europe, America, South Africa, Asia, Australia).

Chiropractic Specialists have a further complementary post-graduate training of 2 or 3 years, after the general chiropractic education.

Example of Chiropractic Specialties: MSK (Musculoskeletal) Radiology, Chiropractic Sports, MSK Paediatrics, MSK Ultrasound Diagnosis, Functional Neurology, Rehabilitation, etc.
